Supply Chain & Quality Manager – Systems & Aerostructures

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is building a new team for an upcoming military program in its Military Derivatives department. As a Supply Chain and Quality Manager you will ensure that systems, equipment and aerostructure suppliers meet on‑time, on‑quality (and on‑cost) targets while supporting the program’s launch in Toulouse.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main interface with suppliers for operational activities.
• Assess suppliers during the tendering phase and contribute to selection decisions.
• Manage supply‑chain and quality aspects of contracts, ensuring performance reporting.
• Oversee supplier quality approvals and verify compliance with required certifications.
• Support new product introductions, technical work orders and changes, ensuring industrial qualification before serial production.
• Evaluate supplier capacity, capability and performance; drive development actions.
• Identify industrial risks and propose mitigation or recovery actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply‑chain or quality management within aerospace or defence.
• Strong knowledge of supplier assessment, qualification and risk management.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
