Supply Chain Manager – Space/Defense Projects

About the role

Exotrail is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to support its fast‑growing space and defense programmes at the Toulouse or Massy site. Reporting to the Deputy VP In‑orbit Service, you will own the end‑to‑end operational management of suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring that equipment is ordered, delivered, received and accepted on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Source and qualify suppliers through RFIs, RFPs and RFQs, and manage daily order follow‑up, schedule coordination and ERP updates.
• Validate deliveries, control documentation, record receipts, manage non‑conformities and trigger returns when needed.
• Maintain stock levels, set target thresholds, conduct cycle counts and propose replenishment actions.
• Update KPIs (OTD, NCR rate, returns), maintain supply dashboards and provide status reports for project reviews.
• Handle logistics and shipments, including transport requests, customs, Incoterms, tracking and proof of compliance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Legal, Quality and the Strategic Supply Manager to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in supply or operational purchasing, preferably in aerospace, space or defence projects.
• Proven track record in supplier management, performance monitoring and risk control throughout a project life‑cycle.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience with KPI reporting and supply chain dashboards.

Required skills

• ERP systems (order and inventory management)
• KPIs and performance metrics (OTD, NCR rate, returns)
• Knowledge of ECSS, NPR and ARP standards
