Supplier Development Manager

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft seeks a Supplier Development Manager to lead complex projects with suppliers, aiming to improve industrial performance and ensure operational sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Assess suppliers' industrial maturity and create action plans with SCQM teams.
• Drive transformation and improvement plans to meet roadmap objectives.
• Build project teams, develop key skills, and secure stakeholder engagement.
• Represent Airbus at supplier sites to protect customer interests.
• Ensure long‑term sustainability by building supplier autonomy on implemented methodologies.

Required profile

• Engineering, Industrial Management or Business Management background.
• Minimum 10 years of industry experience with strong supply‑chain expertise.
• Proven expertise in Lean practices, APQP tools, problem‑solving and crisis management.
• Advanced project‑management competencies and strong shop‑floor (Gemba) experience.
• Fluent in English and French, with travel availability up to 60%.
