Structure Design Engineer – Aircraft Product

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Structure Design Engineer to join the MAP Engineering team in Toulouse. You will work on airframe issues from the Final Assembly Line to delivery, providing design solutions and supporting flight‑test adaptations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engineering solutions for airframe issues from FAL arrival to customer delivery.
• Define aircraft adaptations required for flight‑test programmes.
• Improve designs for manufacturing efficiency and quality.

Required profile

• Strong background in airframe structure design and analysis.
• Experience in a design office or MAP environment with authority to sign delegated designs.
• Fluent in French and technical English.
• Team‑player, adaptable and proactive.

Required skills

• Airframe structure design analysis.
• Metallic and composite structural knowledge.
• Familiarity with ATA52 doors, ATA53 fuselage, ATA55 stabilisers, ATA571 wing‑root joint and related interfaces.
