Strategic Project Manager

About the role

Pennylane is building the financial operating system for French SMEs and accounting firms. As a Strategic Project Manager you will own high‑stakes, cross‑functional initiatives, turning executive ambitions into concrete, shipped outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and frame ambiguous problems into structured plans with hypotheses, analyses, milestones and success criteria.
• Coordinate product, commercial, finance and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
• Build financial models, pull data and pressure‑test numbers yourself, without delegating the core analysis.
• Report progress, risks and recommendations to the Executive Committee and propose corrective actions.
• Lead selected priority initiatives from start to finish, adapting to quarterly priorities as needed.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in top‑tier management consulting or a VC‑backed scale‑up.
• Exceptional analytical capabilities and fluency with data‑driven decision making.
• Structured thinker and clear communicator able to simplify complex trade‑offs for executives.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, strong judgment and a bias toward action.
• Fluent in both French and English.
