Strategic Procurement R&T Lead – Fuselage (PSAB)

About the role

The Fuselage R&T Leader for Procurement Aerostructures will drive strategic consolidation, define sourcing models and position programmes for fuselage components (PSA). Acting as the bridge between advanced research & technology and future programme execution, you will align fuselage strategies across Airbus Commercial, Airbus Atlantic and Airbus Aerostructures to ensure a technically ready, competitive supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and define R&T activities for fuselage within Procurement Aerostructures.
• Formulate robust fuselage sourcing strategies and action plans aligned with eAction milestones.
• Negotiate research agreements (CRAs, SCAs) and manage extensions, amendments and terminations.
• Develop detailed supplier involvement plans per fuselage component to guarantee technical viability and market competition.
• Maintain close relationships with Partnership Business Managers and represent Procurement Aerostructures in technical alignment meetings.
• Monitor contract execution across innovation, development, serial and support phases to optimise performance, cost and risk.

Required profile

• Strong procurement experience or solid airframe technical background.
• Proven ability to work in intercultural, interdisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Proactive mindset with the capacity to work autonomously in a fast‑changing environment.
