SQL Developer – Data Reporting Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a SQL Developer to design, implement and support data‑driven reporting solutions for clients across various environments. Based in France, you will work directly with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust SQL‑based implementations and ensure seamless integration between systems.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients, managers and stakeholders to gather reporting needs and business requirements.
• Translate requirements into effective SQL solutions, including views, stored procedures, functions and tables.
• Connect remotely to client environments to install, configure, maintain and support reporting software.
• Investigate client systems to identify relevant data sources and extract, analyse and interpret data.
• Review and optimise existing database structures, relationships and data flows.
• Apply database fixes, updates and performance improvements in Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Troubleshoot database, connectivity and networking issues, collaborating with client IT teams when needed.
• Deliver user training and provide post‑implementation support throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong experience developing with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proven ability to solve technical problems and communicate with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Practical approach to translating business needs into reliable database solutions.
