About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking an IT Operational Technology (OT) Specialist to join its Industrial Maintenance Department in Toulouse, France. You will ensure the availability, integrity, and security of information systems embedded in production machinery, supporting continuous manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of hardware and software on production equipment, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and decommissioning.
• Diagnose and resolve IT incidents on industrial assets to maintain high availability and minimise downtime.
• Enforce industrial cybersecurity standards such as antivirus protection, patch management, network segregation, and backup/restore procedures.
• Administer machine‑level networks and workstations, handling user accounts, file system security, and data integrity.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation, including hardware/software inventories, and support demand management for new IT/OT projects.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent background in Computer Science, Networks, or Industrial/OT Engineering.
• Proven experience in system administration and IT hardware management.
• Solid knowledge of network administration and industrial cybersecurity principles.
• Familiarity with shop‑floor environments, basic automation, robotics, and EHS fundamentals.
• Working proficiency in French and English.
