Solutions Engineer EMEA

About the role

DataDome is looking for a Solutions Engineer to join its team in Paris. Reporting directly to the EMEA Solution Engineer Manager, the role helps prospects understand the value of DataDome's bot and agent trust management solution, from introductory and demo discussions through to production implementation. It works closely with account executives and clients to solve complex challenges and deliver tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Understand complex customer business problems and advise on deploying the DataDome solution
• Visualize customer internal systems and information topology
• Lead technical discussions with prospects to define challenges and success criteria
• Prepare and deliver impactful presentations and demos
• Guide customers through the evaluation process
• Configure the prospect's instance to enhance bot detection
• Work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, product and marketing teams, and with account executives to assess, qualify and track opportunities in Salesforce

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of pre-sales experience in an enterprise-level SaaS ecosystem
• Consultative approach, with a track record of overcoming technical and security objections
• Ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences
• Analytical mindset, customer-oriented, with excellent written and verbal communication and project management experience

Required skills

• Good understanding of web-based solutions, website development and structured data
• Bonus: Kibana/Elasticsearch, Apache, Nginx, Varnish, IIS, Lambda@Edge
