Software Security Engineer

About the role

Skyld is a deep‑tech startup building cybersecurity solutions for AI systems. As a Software Security Engineer you will focus on hardening software that runs AI models and on researching offensive techniques such as reverse‑engineering of machine‑learning algorithms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop hardened software components for secure AI execution.
• Research and implement reverse‑engineering methods for AI models on Android and embedded platforms.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate protection mechanisms into products.
• Publish research findings through blog posts and social media.
• Provide technical support to customers, troubleshoot integration issues, and act as a liaison between clients and the development team.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in C/C++ development.
• Proficiency in Python, Git, and Docker.
• Solid knowledge of cryptography and software obfuscation techniques.
• Fundamental understanding of reverse‑engineering tools (static and dynamic).
• Basic assembly programming skills for x86_64 and arm64 architectures.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities, methodical and autonomous work style.
• Fluent in both French and English.
