Software Engineer

About the role

Scaleway is looking for a Software Engineer to join its Non‑Relational Database team. You will replace a departing member and help keep the momentum of scaling high‑demand products while delivering a robust, scalable, and high‑performance experience for customers in new sovereign regions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain non‑relational database services that support Scaleway’s cloud and AI portfolio.
• Ensure scalability, reliability and performance of high‑traffic products.
• Collaborate with a small, international team of developers, a manager and a product manager.
• Contribute to the team’s growth by sharing knowledge and best practices.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering background with a focus on backend systems.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, multicultural environment.
• Motivation to support the expansion of sovereign cloud services.
