Software Engineer – Interconnect Tools

About the role

Join Qualcomm France’s Interconnect Technology team to develop and maintain CAD tools that bridge software and hardware design for advanced SoC integration. You will work closely with hardware designers to create high‑level abstractions that configure and connect custom interconnect IP, and generate all necessary collateral for Qualcomm’s IP delivery flow.

Key responsibilities

• Gather feedback from hardware teams and design new features to extend tool capabilities.
• Plan releases, deliver software updates, and ensure high delivery quality.
• Monitor code quality, manage regression testing, and maintain documentation.
• Implement IP integration and configuration tasks such as cache‑coherent networks.
• Perform netlist analysis, transformation, and develop graph‑based algorithms for path finding.
• Generate data for physical‑design flow and create GUI components for topology or floor‑plan editing.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Science, Engineering or a related discipline (open to recent graduates or experienced engineers).
• Strong interest in hardware technologies such as block diagrams, RTL, Verilog, VHDL, SystemC or Arduino.
• Team‑player attitude with a focus on software design best practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python with object‑oriented programming.
• Strong C++ development skills.
• Experience with Qt for GUI development.
• Familiarity with Linux development environments.
• Version control using Git.
