Software Development Engineer

About the role

As a Software Development Engineer you will join a collaborative team at Stellantis, contributing to the design, development and delivery of scalable technical solutions. You will work alongside experienced engineers, gaining exposure to production environments and incident handling while continuously expanding your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into concrete technical solutions.
• Participate in the design of system architectures and key components.
• Develop and implement scalable, maintainable software solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support incident resolution.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including product, engineering and operations.
• Contribute to technical documentation and promote best practices.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in application operations, production support or software engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with systems in production and incident handling.
• Good understanding of application architectures such as APIs, backend services and batch processing.
• Familiarity with complex or distributed systems and cloud environments.
• Basic knowledge of data and AI concepts is a plus.
• Understanding of release and deployment processes and ITIL concepts.
