Software Development Engineer – Full Stack

About the role

You will join a development team at Stellantis, building subsystem components for the vehicle software delivery platform. The role offers the chance to work with cutting‑edge tools and methodologies while collaborating with experts from both automotive and software domains.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality, production‑ready software components.
• Apply DevOps best practices under a "You Build It, You Run It" model.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Drive innovation by leveraging new technologies, including AI‑powered solutions.
• Ensure software is reliable, scalable, and maintainable.
• Write clean, robust, and maintainable code.
• Partner with other development teams on joint projects and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience developing and operating cloud‑native applications and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience with microservices, event‑driven architectures, and scalable distributed systems.
• Solid knowledge of clean‑code principles (DRY, KISS, YAGNI) and automated testing.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset with proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
