SMB Community Manager – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

Canva is looking for a passionate SMB Community Manager to lead its French Canvassador programme and build a vibrant community of small‑business owners, entrepreneurs and solopreneurs. Based in Paris with hybrid flexibility, you will turn discovery of Canva’s design tools into genuine advocacy across France.

Key responsibilities

• Launch and scale the French Canvassador programme, recruiting and empowering SMB ambassadors.
• Plan and host high‑impact events – workshops, community labs and ecosystem gatherings – first in Paris, then regionally.
• Develop strategic partnerships with SMB networks, accelerators, financial institutions and government programmes.
• Collaborate with Growth Marketing, SEO and Content teams on France‑focused campaigns.
• Track and report community impact on MAU growth, ambassador engagement, partner‑driven acquisition and ARR contribution.

Required profile

• Proven experience growing and engaging SMB audiences and driving community‑led growth.
• Deep understanding of the French small‑business and solopreneur landscape.
• Track record of building ambassador programmes or grassroots campaigns.
• Comfortable facilitating workshops, networking sessions and flagship activations.
• Analytical mindset with ability to link community activity to business outcomes.
• Fluent in French and confident in English communication.
