Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Network Products

About the role

Scaleway is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join its Network Products team. You will be responsible for automating, monitoring, and improving the reliability, performance, and scalability of our storage and network platforms, ensuring high availability for our cloud and AI services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop automation tools and frameworks to streamline infrastructure management.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Infrastructure as Code best practices.
• Implement and refine monitoring and alerting systems (OpenMetrics, OpenTelemetry).
• Respond to incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and operations teams to embed resilience into network services.
• Participate in architecture reviews, providing an SRE perspective early in design.
• Apply fault‑tolerance, load‑balancing, and energy‑efficiency principles.
• Share knowledge through the SRE Guild and internal documentation.

Required profile

• Strong background in building and operating large‑scale, highly available infrastructure.
• Experience working in collaborative, cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and drive continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• CI/CD pipeline development.
• OpenMetrics and OpenTelemetry for observability.
• Automation scripting and framework creation.
• Incident response and root‑cause analysis.
