Site Financial Controller

About the role

The Site Financial Controller will be based at our Nurieux plant and will own the financial performance, integrity and compliance of the site. Acting as the finance business partner to plant and country leadership, the role provides accurate reporting, risk management and value‑creation insights. The controller will also present monthly performance updates to European management, effectively serving as the site’s CFO.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full planning cycle – budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning – aligned with business strategy.
• Prepare and analyse monthly and quarterly results, delivering clear narratives on performance versus budget and forecasts.
• Provide strategic finance support to plant leadership, influencing decisions and driving performance improvement.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and regulatory requirements for the Nurieux site.
• Act as the primary liaison between plant management, Group Finance, the Shared Service Center, auditors and other external stakeholders.
• Maintain financial governance, transparency and best‑in‑class finance practices across the site.
• Present site financial performance to European senior management on a monthly basis.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial controlling or finance leadership within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical ability and experience delivering financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting to senior management and interfacing with auditors.
• Solid understanding of compliance, accounting standards and risk management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with operational, country and group finance teams.
