Service Operator – Wind Farm Maintenance

About the role

As a Service Operator you will help optimise Vestas wind farms throughout their life‑cycle, ensuring turbines operate at maximum capacity while delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform periodic service inspections on wind turbines in line with Vestas specifications, covering electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Collaborate with customers and internal regional teams (technicians, planners, storekeepers) to maintain strong professional relationships.
• Adhere to the highest safety and environmental standards and meet defined service targets.

Required profile

• Youth Training (NVQ Level 1‑2), BTEC First Diploma or high‑school degree with experience in maintenance, electrical engineering or mechanics.
• Good command of technical English (written and oral) and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Autonomous, results‑oriented, strong communication skills and team spirit.
• Willingness to travel, commitment to safety and ability to work at height.
