Service Manager – France

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on, business‑oriented leader to own and develop our service operations across France. In this 360° position you will manage the Field Service organization, drive revenue growth, and lead service‑related projects while ensuring a best‑in‑class customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Service organization, overseeing Field Service teams, technical hardware support and service coordinators.
• Take full responsibility for service revenue, profitability and growth, identifying expansion opportunities with Sales, Spare Parts and Logistics.
• Own and execute service projects, providing hands‑on project management when required.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering professional development.
• Plan and optimise personnel schedules and service requests.
• Continuously improve processes, routines and KPIs.
• Collaborate with EMEA Service Managers to enhance offerings and communication.
• Oversee inventory and facility management for smooth daily operations.
• Report service results and KPIs to senior management.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (BSc or MSc).
• 3‑5 years delivering services to industrial customers with commercial and revenue responsibility.
• 3‑5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Valid B‑category driving licence.
• Engaging, results‑driven leader comfortable with end‑to‑end service responsibility.
• Excellent communicator, structured, systematic and motivated to develop people and processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience with ERP systems (advantageous).
• Experience with Service Management systems (advantageous).
