SEO Specialist

About the role

Moris Media, a PR, digital marketing and reputation management agency with more than 12 years of experience, is hiring a full-time SEO Specialist in France. The role involves developing and implementing SEO strategies to improve website visibility, search rankings and organic traffic, working closely with content creators, developers and marketing specialists. The position is remote.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve rankings and organic traffic
• Optimize on-page elements such as meta tags, headers, URLs, image alt text and internal linking
• Research keywords and align content with search intent
• Run technical SEO audits and fix crawl errors, broken links, duplicate content and indexing issues
• Work with content teams on SEO-friendly content
• Build links ethically and manage local SEO (Google My Business, local citations)
• Implement schema markup and structured data, and optimize for mobile-first indexing and voice search
• Track performance with Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs and Moz, and run A/B tests and competitor analysis
• Collaborate with content marketers, developers, designers and social media teams

Required profile

• 3 to 7 years of experience in SEO, digital marketing or website optimization
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field
• Proven track record of measurable SEO results; certifications in SEO and digital marketing are highly preferred
• Willingness to travel when required for client meetings and audits

• Keyword research with Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs and Moz
• Structured data (schema markup) and local SEO
• Data analysis with Google Analytics and Search Console
• A/B testing and conversion rate optimization
