SEO Lead (13‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

BlaBlaCar is looking for an SEO Lead to drive its organic growth across multiple markets. This 13‑month fixed‑term position will shape and execute SEO, GEO and SMO strategies while collaborating with product, engineering and marketing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a comprehensive organic strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead a team of two SEO experts, fostering initiative and ambition.
• Prioritise the backlog for a dedicated engineering squad (5 engineers + manager) to deliver CRO, SEO/GEO and UX projects.
• Conduct technical audits and performance analyses of the six main websites.
• Build and manage a web‑page optimisation backlog, driving A/B testing to maximise conversion rates.
• Collaborate with SEO, SEA, CRM, Paid, Product and Tech teams to shape the overall website strategy.
• Monitor, analyse and report on GEO, SEO and CRO performance across all markets.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Google’s algorithms and SEO best practices with proven campaign success.
• Experience in leveraging generative AI and agentic conversion techniques.
• Solid knowledge of web CRO methods and a passion for new technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a small team and build cross‑functional partnerships.
• Full professional proficiency in English and French.
