SEO & GEO Lead

About the role

Spiko is looking for its first SEO & GEO Lead to shape and execute a comprehensive SEO and Generative Engine Optimization strategy. You will drive brand visibility in traditional search results and in large language model (LLM) responses, supporting user acquisition and brand authority.

Key responsibilities

• Own the SEO content roadmap: conduct keyword research, guide content creation, and manage updates.
• Lead the writing team to produce search‑intent aligned content, adapting to SEO and GEO changes.
• Ensure website information is accurate by collaborating with subject‑matter owners.
• Partner with design and data teams to enrich articles with illustrations, charts, motion design, and video.
• Oversee technical health of the site, improving page speed, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexation, architecture, internal linking, and URL strategy.
• Implement a link‑building strategy to boost domain authority and keyword rankings.
• Identify and resolve barriers to search visibility through regular audits across all SEO pillars.
• Launch and optimize the GEO strategy for LLM‑driven discovery.
• Report on SERP rankings, AI‑generated answer share, and business impact.
• Design AI‑enabled production processes (generative AI, Make, n8n) to automate low‑value tasks.
• Stay current with SEO and GEO best practices and run experiments.
