Senior Windows System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Windows System Administrator to join HCLTech’s Paris office. The role will focus on operating, maintaining and continuously improving a Windows‑based infrastructure in a hybrid environment, supporting production systems and ensuring stability.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain physical and virtual Windows Server environments.
• Ensure operational stability of Windows infrastructure hosted on VMware.
• Monitor systems, manage alerts and respond to incidents (N2/N3) using monitoring and ITSM tools.
• Perform backup and restore operations with enterprise backup solutions.
• Manage security tools, patching (WSUS) and vulnerability remediation.
• Deploy applications and handle SCCM‑based software distribution.
• Produce documentation, operational reports and support compliance with security standards.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience in production Windows environments.
• Strong ability to resolve incidents autonomously (N2/N3).
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Fluent French (C1) and good English (B2).
