Senior User Researcher

About the role

Alan is building a new standard in preventive health insurance and needs a senior researcher to keep the product grounded in real user needs. As a Senior User Researcher you will shape research strategy, run studies throughout the product lifecycle, and turn insights into actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize research questions from across the organization.
• Design and conduct qualitative studies such as interviews, diary studies, think‑aloud usability tests, and direct observation.
• Plan and execute quantitative research including surveys, sampling, and crosstab analysis.
• Synthesize findings into clear, compelling insights for product, design, and engineering teams.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, engineers, analytics and data‑science partners.
• Mentor teammates and help grow a research‑driven culture within the company.

Required profile

• 4+ years of product or user research experience in a technology environment.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in qualitative research methods.
• Solid quantitative research skills and familiarity with basic statistical concepts.
• Sharp critical thinking and ability to scope research efficiently.
• Strategic mindset with experience partnering with product stakeholders.

Required skills
