Senior Specialist - S&P Procurement Operations

About the role

Genpact is looking for a Senior Specialist in Sourcing and Procurement (S&P) Procurement Operations, based in Paris/Puteaux. As a sourcing buyer you manage end-to-end sourcing projects, aiming to deliver maximum value and savings or benefits to the client.

Key responsibilities

• Procure goods and services, obtain quotations, develop proposals and negotiate contracts of low to moderate value and risk in line with client requirements.
• Manage sourcing projects through formal ERP/procurement tools, using RFP/RFX/RFQ processes and eAuctions.
• Understand upstream and downstream sourcing processes (S2P and P2P).
• Manage proactive engagement activities for planned spend and handle transactional buying desk activities, including raising purchase orders.
• Analyse quotations, assess supplier suitability and reliability against client policy and sourcing guidelines, and negotiate commercial and non-commercial clauses.
• Obtain client Category Manager approval on finalised projects, support drafting of contracts and record savings in the client savings database.
• Review the pipeline with operational teams, work with category managers and business units on procurement requirements and compliance, and act as single point of contact for sourcing requests.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders, take on additional analysis and reporting tasks, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or Supply Chain Management, or a Master's in Operations Management.
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or SAP Certified Application Professional - Procurement with SAP ERP 6.0.
• Proficiency in English and French (C2 level).
