Senior Radio Optimisation Engineer (2/3/4/5G)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Radio Optimisation Engineer to join our multicultural team of 40 specialists. You will drive the evolution of 2G/3G/4G/5G performance indicators, ensuring optimal coverage, quality and efficiency for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify daily KPI degradations, investigate root causes and trigger corrective actions while coordinating with operators.
• Optimise network coverage and quality using Automatic Cell Planning (ACP), SON, MDT data, drive‑test and end‑to‑end trace analysis.
• Validate performance of new sites and technologies to meet client quality standards.
• Contribute to RAN evolution by testing and deploying new features, refining mobility, load‑balancing and energy‑efficiency strategies.
• Conduct RF and transmission audits, ensuring parameter consistency across the network.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering (BAC+5 equivalent) or similar.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in radio optimisation or a comparable role.
• Strong teamwork spirit, leadership, ownership and a continuous‑learning mindset.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of 3GPP protocol standards.
• Experience with Huawei RAN features and parameter trials.
• Proficiency in radio coverage simulation tools and optimisation techniques.
• Expertise in drive‑test analysis, especially TEMS Discovery.
• End‑to‑end protocol analysis using equipment such as Anritsu or EXFO.
• Familiarity with Automatic Cell Planning (ACP), Self‑Organising Networks (SON) and MDT data analysis.
