Senior Product Analyst

About the role

As a Senior Product Analyst you will play a pivotal role in helping product teams understand user behavior, surface key opportunities, and translate insights into roadmap decisions. You will join the Science & Analytics team within the Data department, working closely with product, design, engineering and data stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze user behavior across Pennylane’s frontend experiences using Amplitude and the data warehouse to identify adoption patterns, friction points, opportunities and risks.
• Transform behavioral data into clear, strategic insights that guide product leaders on what to build, improve, simplify or stop.
• Act as a sparring partner for product leaders, anticipating questions, framing analyses and turning findings into roadmap recommendations.
• Help define success metrics, clarify measurement needs and embed a product‑measurement mindset across product, design, engineering and data teams.
• Partner with owners on tracking implementation, ensuring measurement remains pragmatic, actionable and linked to product decisions.
• Contribute to self‑service analytics, understand product partners’ needs and promote a data‑driven culture.
• Develop and maintain data models in the warehouse (using dbt) that are used by product teams.

Required profile

• 5‑6 years of experience as a Product Analyst or Data Analyst working closely with product teams, preferably in a scale‑up environment.
• Strong product and business acumen; trusted partner for stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate ideas clearly.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
