Senior P2P & Procurement Content Excellence Specialist

About the role

Lonza's Procurement & Sustainability Excellence team is hiring a Senior P2P & Procurement Content Excellence Specialist in Colmar, France. This fully site-based role has global scope and drives Procure-to-Pay (P2P) excellence through master data governance, supplier enablement, buying channel optimization and continuous process improvement, ensuring efficient and compliant purchasing across multiple sites. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure master data, contracts and buying channels are accurately maintained and optimized across procurement systems in a multi-site, international environment.
• Configure and manage procurement content in SAP ERP and SAP Ariba, supporting guided buying, catalogs and other digital channels.
• Own and improve P2P processes and KPIs (cycle time, touchless rate, compliance, exception rate), driving automation and simplification.
• Maintain accurate supplier master data, including onboarding, validation and key commercial terms such as payment terms, MOQs and lead times.
• Partner with Category Managers, Strategic Buyers, Finance, IT and Supply Chain teams to turn sourcing strategies into operational solutions.
• Lead supplier onboarding and enablement, including catalog integration and electronic invoicing.
• Support procurement compliance, sustainability objectives and continuous improvement programs.
• Train users on procurement processes, systems and best practices.

Required profile

• Experience in P2P, procurement operations, master data management, shared services or a similar environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across functions and regions.
• A continuous improvement mindset and curiosity for new technologies.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (MM), SAP Ariba or comparable platforms and digital purchasing tools.
• Understanding of procurement processes, buying channels, contract operationalization and content management.
• Data, KPIs and reporting tools, including advanced Microsoft Excel.

• Full-time annual base pay in Colmar expected between 56,000 EUR and 84,000 EUR, depending on experience and qualifications.
