Senior Men's Jersey Designer

About the role

Tom Ford is seeking a Senior Men's Jersey Designer to lead the Jersey category, including underwear and small accessories. Reporting to the Menswear Design Director, you will shape the creative and strategic direction of the line while aligning with the brand’s artistic vision.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the Jersey category through all stages of the collection process, from material research and sketching to collection strategy and product development presentations.
• Lead and coordinate jersey meetings and fittings, collaborating closely with the Creative Director, Product Development, and Merchandising teams.
• Ensure business‑oriented decisions stay within allocated budgets and support the industrialisation phase.
• Maintain strong, long‑term relationships with Portuguese and Italian manufacturers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in luxury jersey design.
• Proven ability to research raw materials, from yarns to finished jersey.
• Demonstrated experience managing the full vertical product process.
• Strong curiosity for innovative techniques and finishes.
• Fluent English; French and Italian are a plus.

Required skills

• Adobe Creative Suite proficiency.
• Computer presentation and sketching skills.
• Material and yarn research expertise.
• Technical knowledge of jersey construction and finishing.
