Senior Lecturer – Pharmacy Practice (Teaching & Research)

About the role

The University of New South Wales seeks a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice to join its Kensington Campus. This full‑time, permanent position combines high‑quality teaching with an active research programme in health services and pharmacy practice.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy education, including the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Medicine and Master of Pharmacy.
• Design and implement simulation‑based learning activities, assessments and resources aligned with accreditation standards.
• Coordinate courses, ensure quality assurance, and participate in clinical assessments.
• Develop and lead a research agenda in pharmacy practice, secure grant funding, and supervise higher‑degree research students.
• Contribute to curriculum development and foster collaborative research across the School and Faculty.

Required profile

• PhD in Pharmacy with current registration on the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) register.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching pharmacy practice skills and research methods.
• Significant peer‑reviewed publications, successful grant applications, and experience supervising HDR students.
• Strong record of professional development in pedagogy and research.
