About the role

Join Pennylane to shape the financial operating system used daily by millions of French SMEs and accounting firms. As a senior full‑stack engineer you will work in a remote‑first, trust‑based environment, delivering reliable, scalable products that simplify accounting and finance.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and frame user and product problems, delivering pragmatic solutions.
• Lead technical deliveries from design through production, ensuring quality and reliability.
• Investigate and resolve complex production issues using monitoring, observability and data analysis tools.
• Design robust, high‑performance solutions and identify scalability opportunities.
• Share deep expertise in Ruby on Rails, React and TypeScript while quickly becoming autonomous on new initiatives.
• Improve engineering practices through code reviews, pair programming, documentation and AI‑assisted development.
• Mentor teammates, provide actionable feedback and foster continuous technical growth.
• Collaborate across squads, unblock technical topics and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Required profile

• 7‑8 years of hands‑on experience with Ruby on Rails and React.
• Strong product and business understanding with a user‑centric mindset.
• Collaborative team player with clear communication and ownership.
• Enjoy solving complex, accounting‑related problems in a fast‑growing fintech.
