About the role

byFANG, an independent maison blending Parisian couture savoir‑faire with Asian artisanal heritage, is preparing the launch of its first fragrance collection in Q3 2026. The company seeks a senior freelance partner to lead the selective distribution of the new line across Europe, leveraging an existing network in niche fragrance and luxury beauty.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution of byFANG’s selective distribution strategy throughout Europe.
• Identify, approach, and secure retail, wholesale, and distribution partners that align with the brand’s positioning.
• Drive strategic introductions and commercial negotiations with prestigious department stores, specialty perfumeries, and concept stores.
• Prioritize territories, accounts, and launch opportunities based on brand fit, timing, and market potential.
• Collaborate closely with internal development and marketing teams on launch planning and market execution.
• Represent byFANG at key meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with high‑value partners and provide market feedback and strategic recommendations.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in niche fragrance, luxury beauty, or highly selective premium distribution.
• Proven track record developing brands within prestige retail environments.
• Active network of decision‑makers across key European fragrance and beauty channels.
• Strong credibility with prestigious department stores, high‑end specialty retailers, independent perfumeries, and concept stores.
• Strategic mindset combined with strong commercial execution abilities.
• Entrepreneurial, hands‑on, highly autonomous, and able to act as a true launch partner.
• Fluent English.
