Senior Fleet Manager – Global Fleet

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Senior Fleet Manager to lead safety, compliance and availability of its delivery fleet across France. The role will shape regional fleet strategy, launch new programs and ensure vehicles meet local regulations while supporting rapid expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead health and safety for the fleet, conducting audits and ensuring roadworthiness.
• Act as the single‑threaded leader for product and program launches across French regions.
• Develop and execute fleet‑operations initiatives and related programs.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to solve complex operational challenges.
• Define programs with clear deliverables and align stakeholders to long‑term priorities.
• Negotiate and influence decisions, balancing cost, quality and speed.
• Manage volatile vehicle demand, making short‑ and long‑term trade‑offs.
• Travel 20‑30% of the time to delivery stations and partner sites.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in fleet management and local market conditions in France.
• Proven ability to influence and negotiate with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills in ambiguous, vehicle‑constrained markets.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the region.
• Experience leading safety and compliance initiatives.
