Senior Financial Accountant – Paris

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous and autonomous Senior Financial Accountant to join a leading multinational organization in Paris. Working closely with the European Financial Controller, you will own day‑to‑day financial operations across a complex, multi‑country environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing processes for multiple European entities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP and tax regulations, escalating issues as needed.
• Prepare accurate financial reports for Group Finance and support the Controller’s review.
• Manage the relationship with the Shared Service Center, overseeing transaction processing and meeting closing deadlines.
• Drive the forecasting process across Europe, consolidating inputs for financial planning discussions.
• Provide first‑level revenue and margin analysis for business performance reviews.
• Act as the primary operational interface with Sales and Operations teams, handling queries and escalations.
• Deputize for the Controller, preparing briefing materials and ensuring continuity.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA or equivalent qualification highly preferred.
• 5‑8 years of experience in financial controlling, audit or accounting within a multinational setting.
• Proven ability to work in a matrix organization and support senior stakeholders.
• Experience in fast‑growing or scaling environments.
• Deep understanding of IFRS and local GAAP across multiple European countries.
• Strong execution capability in forecasting and financial planning.
• Fluent in English; additional Italian or Spanish is a plus.

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from €60,000 to €70,000 per year.
