Senior Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join its Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) in Toulouse. You will work within a multinational network of experts, protecting Airbus’s digital assets across IT, OT/ICS and product security domains.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate technical cyber‑attacks and conduct Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) activities.
• Industrialise threat‑hunting processes and improve intrusion‑detection capabilities.
• Design, develop and integrate new detection, response and DFIR tools.
• Perform threat‑intelligence research on attacker groups targeting the aerospace and defence sector.
• Contribute to research publications and represent Airbus CERT at global working groups and security conferences.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of information technology or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in threat detection, incident response and reverse engineering.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multinational, complex environment and coordinate across business units.
• Fluent English.
