Senior AI Solution Architect & Builder

About the role

As a Senior AI Solution Architect & Builder you will design, develop and industrialise enterprise‑grade AI solutions that deliver measurable business value. Working autonomously within Bureau Veritas' Global AI & Data Transformation division, you will collaborate with product, data science, engineering and client teams from a Paris‑based hub.

Key responsibilities

• Assess business problems and decide the optimal approach – AI, deterministic software, rules‑based automation or hybrid solutions.
• Translate business journeys into detailed technical designs, mapping inputs, transformations, decision logic and human‑in‑the‑loop controls.
• Architect and build production‑grade copilots, agents, retrieval‑based systems and AI‑enabled applications, providing hands‑on code guidance.
• Create AI wrappers that expose foundation model capabilities through secure service layers, prompt orchestration and enterprise guardrails.
• Implement evaluation‑driven development, LLMOps practices, hallucination monitoring and release management for governed AI assets.
• Define integration patterns, APIs, security models and operational support aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Leverage shared semantic models, taxonomies and knowledge sources to embed business meaning into AI solutions.
• Move prototypes to production with monitoring, observability, CI/CD pipelines and continuous improvement loops.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• At least 10 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, enterprise integration or AI engineering.
• Proven ability to design and deliver complex solutions under ambiguity and across diverse stakeholder groups.

Required skills

• Python programming with production‑grade discipline (security‑by‑design, CI/CD, observability).
• API‑first, cloud‑native, event‑driven and distributed system design.
• LLM application development, retrieval‑augmented generation, agent frameworks and prompt engineering.
• LLMOps practices including evaluation‑driven development, hallucination monitoring and release management.
• Data integration, semantic modeling and knowledge‑graph expertise.
