Senior AI Native Software Engineer

About the role

PALO IT is hiring a Senior AI Native Software Engineer in Paris, France (hybrid) to design, build, and ship AI‑augmented software for enterprise clients, using PALO IT's proprietary Gen‑e²™ AI‑native delivery methodology. The role sits in a technology consultancy of 450+ experts across 10 countries and requires solid professional software engineering experience combined with hands‑on use of AI coding assistants.

Key responsibilities

• Design AI‑driven architectures and build scalable systems that solve complex technical challenges for each client.
• Write clean, maintainable code accelerated by AI assistance, delivering smarter and more reliable software.
• Drive collaboration and innovation by testing emerging AI technologies and evolving the Gen‑e²™ methodology.
• Translate abstract client needs into clear technical designs, visualizations, and workshops.
• Lead AI‑powered audits of code, accessibility, performance, and security to raise delivery standards.

Required profile

• Significant professional software engineering experience across diverse tech stacks (Java.NET, React, Angular or comparable).
• Hands‑on experience with at least one AI coding assistant (e.g., GitHub Copilot or Cursor) and strong prompt‑engineering skills.
• Critical thinking to verify AI‑generated output and ensure robust, trustworthy systems.
• Genuine curiosity about emerging AI trends and a commitment to social, environmental, and ethical impact.
• Fluency in English and a collaborative mindset suited to an international environment.
