Security Engineer – Remote or Hybrid

About the role

Voyage Privé is looking for a Security Engineer to help shape the security and resilience of its travel‑tech platform. You will work closely with engineering, product and platform teams to embed security throughout the development lifecycle while supporting a remote‑first or hybrid work model in France.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen security posture across products, data and infrastructure through secure coding, code reviews, threat modeling, vulnerability remediation, cloud and network hardening.
• Develop automated security guardrails for CI/CD pipelines, including SAST, SCA and secrets scanning.
• Design secure architectures for applications, APIs, data flows and integrations in partnership with engineering teams.
• Secure hybrid environments that combine virtual machines, containers and cloud‑native services.
• Drive proactive risk identification via continuous scanning, threat‑modeling sessions, risk assessments and architecture reviews.
• Act as a trusted advisor to engineering teams, create internal tools and lead security‑awareness sessions.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, investigate security events and improve incident‑response workflows.
• Lead security improvement projects, building automation, enhancing tools and fostering a culture of security ownership.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in software engineering, security engineering, DevSecOps or a comparable technical security role.
• Proven ability to work fast, think big and deliver measurable impact.
• Strong collaborative mindset and experience advising engineering teams on security best practices.
