Security Analyst

About the role

Proton is looking for a Security Analyst to protect its global infrastructure. You will work at the intersection of threat investigation and security engineering, designing detection rules, responding to incidents, and improving the overall security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, optimise and extend Proton’s SIEM and sensor ecosystem.
• Design high‑fidelity alerts and identify blind spots in the network.
• Monitor, triage and investigate security alerts across corporate infrastructure.
• Lead containment and mitigation actions during incidents and develop playbooks.
• Analyse logs, endpoints and network traffic to uncover anomalies and emerging risks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement secure architectures, OS hardening and strict access controls.
• Feed operational findings back into security tooling and roadmap planning.
• Provide guidance on security best practices and emerging threats to the wider organisation.

Required profile

• Strong logical reasoning and data‑driven intuition.
• Excellent cross‑functional communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑moving environment.
