SAP Basis Lead Consultant – Paris

About the role

Infosys is looking for a senior SAP Basis Lead Consultant to design, implement and maintain complex SAP landscapes for its French operations. You will act as the technical authority, ensuring high availability, performance and security while bridging business needs with infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain the overall SAP architecture, aligning it with current and future business requirements.
• Lead cloud migration projects to platforms such as RISE, AWS, Azure or Google Cloud and manage hybrid environments.
• Architect High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions and define enterprise‑level security standards.
• Oversee S/4HANA conversions, OS/DB migrations, system upgrades and ensure minimal disruption.
• Monitor, analyse and optimise performance of SAP HANA and other database components.
• Serve as escalation point for Level 3/4 Basis issues and mentor on‑shore and off‑shore administrators.
• Introduce automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) to streamline repetitive administration tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of experience in a dedicated SAP Lead Consultant role.
• Proven expertise in SAP Basis administration across S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager and Fiori.
• Strong background in cloud architecture and migration strategies.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP HANA database administration and performance tuning.
• Ability to lead technical teams and manage large‑scale transformation projects.
