Sales Team Leader - Netherlands

About the role

Spiko, a cash management platform founded in 2023, serves businesses, non-profits, financial advisers and fintechs across Europe. It is expanding into the Netherlands and is looking for a Sales Team Leader who acts as both player and coach: carrying an ambitious personal quota and owning strategic deals while building and leading a team of Account Executives to hit their assets under management targets. The role reports directly to the General Manager Benelux.

Key responsibilities

• Carry an ambitious personal quota and own most strategic deals end to end
• Be accountable for the team hitting its assets under management targets
• Join Account Executives in customer meetings to help advance deals
• Build and own a reliable, accurately forecasted pipeline for the team
• Recruit and grow the sales team as the company scales
• Deliver clear, regular performance updates to the Head of Sales

Required profile

• 5+ years in B2B sales with a strong track record as an individual contributor, ideally at a high-growth startup
• Some experience managing or mentoring salespeople, with enough field credibility to coach by example
• Highly ambitious, comfortable owning a full sales cycle independently, and resilient
• Native Dutch and fluent English; degree from a top university, business or engineering school (nice to have)
• Ideally has relationships with CFOs of startups, scale-ups or SMBs in the Benelux

Required skills

• Fluent with CRMs
• Familiar with sales tools such as Aircall, Amplemarket or similar
