Robotic Application Engineer

About the role

As a Robotic Application Engineer you will bridge AI research and industrial practice, ensuring our robots perform reliably in real‑world environments across Europe. You will work closely with the AI team, customers, and the founding technical team to turn cutting‑edge algorithms into robust, deployed solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the AI team to validate new capabilities and continuously improve robot behaviour.
• Investigate failures, design fixes, and enhance robot robustness, reliability and performance.
• Deploy, commission and optimise robotic systems at customer sites throughout Europe, including data collection.
• Apply robotics expertise to optimise system integration, calibration, sensing and manipulation.
• Develop internal tools for deployment, debugging, monitoring and data collection.
• Adapt the robotic platform to new applications and industrial environments.

Required profile

• Strong Python programming skills.
• Solid fundamentals in robotics and experience with robotic arms.
• Ability to debug both hardware and software issues.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel regularly across Europe.
• Curiosity and a builder mindset.
