Risk Management Internship (Lyon)

About the role

ARCHIMED, an investment firm focused exclusively on healthcare industries, is looking for an intern to join its Risk Management team in Lyon, France, for a minimum of 6 months. The intern reports to the Risk Manager based in Lyon.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial risks at fund level
• Maintain and update the Risk Dashboard database, including regular updates of key risk, FX and Net Asset Value (NAV) metrics
• Support stress test risk calculations
• Follow up on outstanding documentation required for investment and divestment processes
• Contribute to testing activities linked to ongoing platform implementation projects
• Support the team on the data reconciliation and regulatory reporting processes

Required profile

• Eligibility to work in France
• Fluency in English; French is a plus
• Master's student or recent graduate in Finance or Economics with a specialization in Risk is a plus
• Previous exposure to risk management, asset management, private equity, and NAV and FX-related analysis from internship experience is a plus

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with data reconciliation and reporting processes
• Experience in financial analysis and reporting, including fund-level risk and regulatory reporting
• Interest in regulatory compliance, financial risk frameworks and AI developments
