Retail & Market Access Manager – France

About the role

IQVIA is seeking a Retail & Market Access Manager to lead the commercial and access strategy for a leading biosimilar portfolio in France. You will work closely with the Country Manager and EU Tender Department to ensure product availability across the retail pharmacy channel and drive sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed country sales targets while supporting the broader commercial team.
• Design and implement a nationwide market access plan in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Negotiate listings, agreements and distribution terms with wholesalers, pharmacy groups (VTOs) and retail networks.
• Map, engage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as GPO buyers, payers, policy makers, trade organisations and KOLs.
• Identify new business opportunities, build business cases and support product launch activities.
• Monitor market dynamics, competitor actions and regulatory changes to adapt strategy.
• Support advocacy and policy initiatives that promote biosimilar adoption and sustainability.

Required profile

• Scientific degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, MSc or equivalent).
• Proven experience in retail/pharmacy market access, preferably within biosimilars, generics or substitutable prescription products.
• Hands‑on negotiation experience with wholesalers and pharmacy networks.
• Successful track record of product launches in the retail sector.
• Deep knowledge of the French regulatory framework for pricing, rebates and commercial conditions.
• Strategic vision for retail market evolution and strong political acumen.
• Experience in advocacy and policy shaping for biosimilar uptake.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Fluency in French.
