Retail Excellence Apprentice (Global)

About the role

As a Retail Excellence Apprentice you will join the global Retail Excellence team at Christian Louboutin’s head office in Paris. Working on a work‑study contract, you will gain hands‑on experience supporting projects that improve client experience, operational efficiency, and uphold the brand’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of retail projects such as process optimisation, client‑eling tools and operational excellence initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (retail, training, merchandising, image, architecture) to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor project progress and prepare status updates and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Benchmark best practices, conduct competitor analysis and contribute to retail strategy development.
• Collect, analyse and report on retail performance data (sales, KPIs, CRM metrics) and identify trends.
• Support the rollout and training of new tools and processes, gathering feedback from boutiques to improve materials.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s programme (Bac+4/Bac+5) in Business, Management, Marketing or a related field, on a work‑study contract.
• Initial experience in retail, client services or luxury (internship, part‑time job or project) is required; exposure to data analysis or project management is a plus.
• Fluent in English and French with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for luxury retail, team‑player attitude, adaptability and a proactive mindset.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce (optional).
