Reporting Agent – Financial Crime Compliance

About the role

As a Reporting Agent in User Quality, you will protect bunq users by ensuring that suspicious activity is identified, flagged, and reported in line with local financial‑crime regulations. You will work closely with compliance and analytics teams to keep our reporting processes accurate, scalable, and fully aligned with legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Report suspicious activity to the appropriate Financial Intelligence Units (FIUs) and apply country‑specific financial‑crime reporting rules.
• Design, document and continuously improve reporting procedures through gap analysis and automation.
• Monitor reporting performance using analytics tools such as Retool, Looker and Google Sheets, and manage open CAP items within deadlines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure regulatory alignment and data quality.

Required profile

• Knowledge of AML, Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and financial‑crime reporting, gained through work or studies.
• Strong investigative, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities with a high ethical standard.
• Data‑driven, detail‑oriented and able to keep user trust at the forefront of decisions.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and French.
