Repair Manager – Flight Hour Services (FHS)

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Repair Manager to join its Flight Hour Services (FHS) team in Toulouse, France. You will coordinate critical repair situations for major airline customers, ensuring suppliers meet cost, schedule, and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Validate supplier commercial quotations (flat‑rate, Time & Material, Power‑By‑the‑Hour) and create justification dossiers for customer‑induced damages.
• Monitor and enforce supplier lead‑times, prioritize AOG and critical customer requests, and resolve root‑cause delays.
• Organise regular calls and meetings with suppliers to review repair status, backlog, and data reconciliation while ensuring compliance with technical standards (service bulletins, upgrades) and certifications (EASA, FAA, CAAS).
• Manage quarantines on returned parts and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives alongside the method and tool team.
• Support the achievement of global FHS repair cost targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supplier management within aerospace or high‑tech repair environments.
• Strong understanding of aviation regulations and certification requirements (EASA, FAA, CAAS).
• Ability to handle urgent, high‑pressure situations and prioritize critical tasks.
• Excellent analytical skills for cost validation and root‑cause analysis.
