Regional EU Pharmacovigilance Manager (Fixed-Term)

About the role

Ipsen is seeking a Regional EU Pharmacovigilance Manager to lead safety activities across its European affiliates and commercial partners. This fixed‑term position will ensure the robustness of the company’s PV system, support affiliates in delivering compliant processes, and act as the primary liaison for patient‑safety matters.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee affiliate activities for acquisition and management of safety data in Europe.
• Monitor actions taken by affiliates and commercial partners acting as local PV representatives.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise to affiliate staff, external partners, and regulatory authorities on PV processes and legislation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial partners, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, medical information, and other internal functions.
• Establish and maintain monthly reporting from affiliates and commercial partners on all PV activities.

Required profile

• Significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in patient‑safety or pharmacovigilance.
• Strong knowledge of pre‑ and post‑marketing PV legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience working with affiliates across multiple geographies and handling regulatory inspections and internal audits.
• Ability to translate legislation into internal processes.
• Healthcare professional degree (e.g., doctor, pharmacist) and fluency in written and spoken English.
