Quality Engineer – Machine Tools (M/F)

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Quality Line Side (QLS) professional to join its machine‑tools production plant in Saint‑Éloi, near Toulouse. You will be a key quality expert, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect non‑conformance areas, create and manage NC follow‑ups using SAP PGI, PEA and PAC.
• Draft concessions (DQ1) and QSOI, set up MES/Andon, and carry out parasitic CPB inspections.
• Act as the area quality focal point for customer returns and operational surveillance.
• Participate in and coordinate Means Qualification, Change, CP, PPV, PPS1‑2 and ROP activities.
• Coach operational teams on a quality mindset and liaise with the Design Office and suppliers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality assurance, quality control and machine‑tool manufacturing.
• Strong expertise in root‑cause analysis (5M, 8D, PPS) and continuous‑improvement tools (Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Physical fitness for work at heights and in confined spaces.
