QAQC Lead – Offshore Oil & Gas Project

About the role

Airswift is looking for a QAQC Lead to drive quality excellence on a major offshore oil & gas development. Reporting to the Performance & Engagement Manager, you will define and implement the Project Quality Management framework and support delivery performance across all workstreams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory and company standards.
• Review and challenge contractor quality documentation, lead audit planning and execution, and manage follow‑up actions.
• Act as the focal point for Management of Change (MoC) processes, coordinating assessments, approvals and impact analysis across engineering, HSE and contract functions.
• Coordinate quality activities across all project packages (SURF, SPS, FPSO, FOPS, drilling, etc.) and provide functional guidance to QA/QC teams.
• Identify, monitor and close out non‑conformities, conduct root‑cause analysis and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Support KPI development, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives, promoting a strong quality culture.
• Ensure alignment between quality and HSE requirements and participate in site and yard visits.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in oil & gas projects, preferably offshore developments.
• Proven senior experience in a QA/QC or quality management role.
• Strong knowledge of contractual, regulatory and industry quality standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead audits, manage change processes and drive continuous improvement.
